Be patience at what they say!

كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو الأَوْتَادِ (12)

وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الأَيْكَةِ أُوْلَئِكَ الأَحْزَابُ (13)

إِن كُلٌّ إِلاَّ كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ (14)

وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَؤُلاء إِلاَّ صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍ (15)

وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ (16)

اصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ

القرآن الكريم ص 38\12-17

Before them were many

Who rejected messengers;

The People of Noah, and `Ad, and Paharaoh,

The Lord of Stakes,

And the Companions of the Wood,-such

Were the Confederates.

Not one of them, but rejected yhe messengers,

But My Punishment came justly

And inevitably on them.

These to-day only wait for a single mighty Blast

Which when it comes

Will brook no delay

They  say:

Our Lord!

Hasten to us our sentence

Even before the Day of Account!

Have patience at what they say!
